A Frosted Bush In The Sun
by Katharine Lee Bates
An arsenal of diamond spears,
A rainbow splintering
Into a million points of sheen,
A little blazing Troy.
Its beauty stirs the pool of tears
As by an angel's wing,
Troubling the waters with a keen
Revivifying joy.
